A good friend of mine had surgery today, his ulcer exploded today and he was rushed to the hospital. Some eight hours later he was operated on...and now he is well and recuperating. He also has to pay 10,000 dollars for such a surgery, cheap? not for mexico's standard of living though. On the sunny side the Sun was up.

PAY DAY

WELL, I`ve GOT PAID TODAY, SATURDAY. We still work 12 to 14 hours day here in Mexico. They have the laws against it but nobody to enforce them; so, life goes on. As a Jack of all trade to an electrician ("for now", he tells me), I make some 120 dollars a week; when he gets drunk, every two weeks....
I also, and finally, got my internet conected since yesterday. Here, in Cancun, that means some 35 dollars a months - of course, a roommate will help to pay for it. and you can talk to me anytime you want to mailto:darfonts@gmail.com.mx....
